Shorter hair styles for curly hair?

I've been wearing my hair long for a while now and decided it is time for a change. I have a hair appointment tomorrow and was wondering what kind of 'do I should get. I'm wanting it to be no shorter than the end of the neck and I've always wanted bangs...
