haha...i've wondered this myself. im a female and i love going short. i think short hair is sexy on women and though im not a lesbian, i find girls with short hair instantly more attractive. i think the problem is...guys think i'm a lesbian. i have short hair, piercings, and a hipster look. i was recently described as a 'lesbian vegetarian'. im actually neither. lol. just wear what you like.Does a female with short hair (styled or not) turn you on or seem unattractive?
Sometimes it depends if they have the face for it. Unlike the first answerer, I think Rihanna has the perfect face for short hair. She looks prettier with short hair than she ever did with long hair. Some people just aren't able to pull off short hair. The face shape plays a role as does the style of the hair. I personally like short hair and think it's very attractive.

A lot of celebrities are doing the short look and I think they look really pretty. The key though is that you have to have a feminine face and you must wear some makeup to avoid looking boyish.

If they have the face to carry it off, then it's attractive.
it depends cause people don't always look good with a long hair and also people don't always look good with a short hair.....boys don't care whether your hair is long or short as long as it suits you.. ^^

If the women as right bone structure short hair will probably look better on her than long hair.
