What shorter hair style would be good for me?

Hi I am 19 and in college and I am finally going to cut my hair after going my whole highschool with my long shaggy look. But I dont know how to get it cut I wear a beanie about 22 hours out of the day anyways lol but in a couple weeks I wont be able to anymore at work. so it is pushing my motivation to find a shorter hair style I am happy with can anyone offer some suggestions. I love my hair now for a couple reason its fun and gilrs love it, so I am looking for something that fits my style but shorter if that makes any sense?? I have photos of how my hair is now if that helps any.
