Short hair styles? i need so ideas?

I have short hair. I know how to do hair, but only longer hair. My hair is quite short. it use to be right at my ears practically but now its right about my shoulders, like it barely touches my shoulders. My hair use to be long but I managed to majorly screw up my hair. I try to curl it but my hair is so think that it makes it look really ugly. I have pulled it back and left a litte hairs in the front stay and kind of make natural curls, but that is all i can think to do. Any ideas? I have to keep my bangs down no matter what because i don't like them to be up or to the side.Short hair styles? i need so ideas?
