Hi there! I used to have hair like that as well, and I wore a formal-looking jeweled headband to recitals - it's easy, looks nice, and gets the job done as far as keeping the hair out of your face. You can also twist the front sections on either side of your face back and pin them with jeweled clips or bobby pins.

Your hair sounds ok just now a classic bob haircut should stay out your face and look great on a stage especially if its shiny and glossy a bob like that always looks superb.
