Need short hair styles PLEASE?

my hair is about 15cm past my shoulders %26amp; I absolutely love it at this length, it suits me so much better BUT

at my work I am required to wear it back in a tight ponytail %26amp; am not aloud to have 1 single strand hang out, %26amp; pulling it back with a hair elastic %26amp; having to put so much product in my hair to hold it, then washing it everynight so it looks clean for the next day (grr product) is taking its toll on my hair %26amp; its not looking healthy.



So I thought, I'll bet my bosses at their own game. How short would my hair need to be so it is just short enough so that you wouldn't be able to tie it back, like if you tried the hair would just fall out of the pony tail?



my hair is a little wavy %26amp; prone to flyaways so I was thinking a style a little messy would be best, then i could just use clips / boby pins to hold it off my face
