Help with cute short hair styles?

my hair is mid neck lenght and pretty thick(but i get it thinned)

its dark dark brown almost black and i have a dance coming up next weekend and im trying to see if there are any cute styles besides straighting my hair which i do almost every day? Plus if i dont straighten it, its super poofy help please?!Help with cute short hair styles?
