Best short hair style for thick hair and square face?

Thinking kind of layered and spikey, very short.Best short hair style for thick hair and square face?
Short is going to be a bit of a trick with thick hair, although I'm sure you can make it work if you really want to. My hair is just on the thick end of *fine*, and it works quite well as a ';really short'; style (almost all 0-2';). It's a fluffy mess long.



If you have or can find a stylist that really knows what he/she is doing, then I'd see what he/she has to say about the matter. From years of having had really short hair. . . there's a lot less margin for error as your hair gets shorter and shorter, so you need someone who knows how much to leave where on a given head. Messing up long hair a bit = so what, cut off a little more and it'll be fine; messing up short hair a bit = it may stick up funny for a week or two.Best short hair style for thick hair and square face?
