Shorter hair styles that arent chavvy?

my current hair style is short-medium and it suits me well. i have joined the TA though and need to cut it shorter but dont want to look wierd or like a chav. anyone have Ideas? pictures would be best. thanksShorter hair styles that arent chavvy?
I don't exactly know what a chav haircut looks like. I think TA means territorial army but I don't know how short a haircut is required. Any of these styles would work for any branch of the military here in the US so maybe you can get some ideas.

Grooming a crew cut or ivy league takes a minute or two after showering.

1) Towel dry hair.

2) Barely dip fingertips in a jar of butch/control wax.

3) Transfer wax to palms.

4)Smooth palms over top of head then sides.

5)Brush hair back off forehead to form short pomp front.

Whichever style you decide on, take a few photos to help describe it to the barber or stylist. If you need any more photos let me know.
