Wedding hair styles?

I have VERY long hair. I'm 5ft 7 and its down to my butt. I can almost sit on it lol

What kind of hair style can I have in my hair for my wedding that isn't gonna break my neck and be heavy (so much hair)

To make a better decision I've put a link to my photo bucket ..thingy it has a pic if me and a pic of me in my dress.

NOTE: I do not look good with all my hair back.. it make my head look weird lol

Loose curls, and tie half of it up where the veil would sit to add extra definition, have thin loose curls round your face to create a soft look.



I can't think of any other way of having it up without being heavy, alothough this isn't really a style.
I think half up (sides pinned back) with some soft curls would be nice, or a low, loose ponytail with soft curls. Leave some strands around your face if you don't like how it looks with all the hair up. But with all of your hair down, you might get hot during the wedding.
At our wedding, one of my bridesmaid's is 6 foot tall and has hair down to her butt. I wanted my girls to have some up with curls and some down. That really seemed to work for everyone, since they all had shoulder length or longer. Good luck with the planning
What about a braid, possibly twisting the braid into a circle and pinned to your head. Or, just curl it. Have you tried bridal magazines? Sometimes they have pictures of women in bridal dresses and some pretty hairstyles.
Some soft curls would look nice. You can do that yourself. Just put larger curlers in your hair but don't wrap your hair tightly in it. When it comes out of the curlers, lightly spray it with pump hairspray, not aerosol.
Some long wavy curls with your sides pulled to the back loosely would look great.

I think your hair all down in loose curls would be lovely - it would frame your face and look really pretty.

A half up style would be best



I also have thick, butt length hair and stand 5' 8'; I had a ';crown'; of hair (Braid the top section of hair - divided in 2 - from crown to front then plait the rest and wind it back to the crown tucking it under the braided bit, if there is any hair left over you can keep winding it or undo the plait and add it to the back) wind pearls under and over like whip stitch, the veil is then attached under the hair crown at the crown, the rest was left down but curled with a wand.

I found this style easy to carry and the weight was not heavy on my neck and back
